What Happened in L.A.?

Waylon (and Mary's) ill fated days in LosAngeles will inevitably come up when the gang eventually goes west. Mary may well have gotten involved in the Process Church, the Satanic bastard child of Scientology and IAm that brought together Charles Manson and the song catcher HarrySmith (though that would have been before Waylon & Mary's time there). While there, Mary probably got interested in the alternate ending to TheWizardOfOz that Smith and Manson tried to get a drug-addled, middle-aged Judy Garland to film in the late 1960s. Waylon and Mary may also have had reluctant contact with the BlackGrail, HarrySmith's degenerate cabal of copromancers. Worse than all of these, of course, was that final horror in the desert. Waylon doesn't want to talk about that, but if pressed might mumble something about the Wicked Witch of the West.
