JohnHenry slew one of the Nephilim with a mighty hammer made of Orichalka. That hammer turned up in quite a few folks' possessions (including the GoldenAgeKnightsOfTheRoad) before somehow ending up with HomerBeulay, who tried to kill the NomeKing with it. The gang rescued it from the CoalMine and it now forms the engine block for WaylanBeulay's LS6.

Orichalka in general is sometimes referred to as the Hammer. The great meteor that killed the dinosaurs was a hammer of a sort; so was a lesser meteor that hit Kansas in 1938.
