"There are no Secret Masters, Danny. No Dero or Tero. Just people, thinking their thoughts. Every one of us is a bit of a transmitter, every one of us is a bit of a receiver. Some of us just broadcast more powerful signals, you know?"
"A long time ago, some people I know thought they should fix America. They wanted to change the world, to make it better. It's a nice idea and all, but it can be dangerous too."
"You can't go home again. The past is gone."
A man lives in the jungle of the Yucatan, broadcasting
old songs nobody knows they remember on a radio frequency nobody knows they can hear. His radio transmitter sits atop the world's largest meteor strike of
orichalka, which he claims was the meteor that destroyed the dinosaurs. There is a mile of Oklahoma road where you'll pick up his station no matter where you tune the radio dial. None of the
PCs remember this.
DannyGreer, who could hear the transmissions and remember the songs, recently retired here to help the man in his work.
He may be
WilliamJenningsBryanIV. (Corrected from
BillBryanIII; see below.)

- I'm surprised you guys came to this conclusion. The radio guy did say "call me Bill," but Bill Bryan III would be pretty damn old by now, plus his death in 1977 is a matter of record. (Not that either of those preclude somebody turning up alive in this game.) Also the radio guy was considerably nicer and wiser than Bill Bryan III, though I guess the memory-wiping events of 1968 could have reformed him. I thought you'd assume the radio guy was Bill Bryan IV instead. It occured to me after the game that, given his promise to be the only one to remember everything, the radio guy could even be ChaseRFoxe, who only thinks his name is Bill. This is a mystery I think we can leave open for now. [Rob]

- I had figured the BillBryanIII attribution was from you Rob. One of the problems of this Wiki, not being able to easily see who made what revision. [Jere]

- Nah, that was my fault -- I jumped to that conclusion. Not sure why. [Bryant]
