Warren Ellis' comic book about the archeology of superheros. Sadly on hiatus, but maybe we'll see more of it someday. It's as much informed by pulp fiction as it is by superheros -- a Doc Savage lookalike is an important character, and there's reason to suspect the granddaughter of Fu Manchu may be one of the main villains.

- Planetary #16 is supposed to come out next week. Nobody believes me when I say that, though. I feel like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin. Bits and pieces of Unknown USA are Planetary-inspired (though not nearly as much as the reality quakes scifi supers game I'd like to run). I have an unused scene between Ben and his grandfather, that I really should run as a a flashback or write-up as a vignette, that I actually imagine as if drawn by Cassaday. [Rob]
- I will believe it when I see a copy. While I can see some Planteary corollations, quite frankly its more ebcause you and Ellis are drawing from the same streams in my opinion. Same thing with Pantellos, though I originally intended it to be a lot more Planetary-like than it became.
