Novel by Tim Powers. There are two sequels, Expiration Date and Earthquake Weather. Expiration Date is set in the same world, but shares very few characters; Earthquake Weather brings together most of the key characters from the first two books.

The novel features tarot symbolism, a struggle for the OccultKingship of LasVegas, and Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel as the Fisher King. The main reason I haven't made more about the fact that Ben Siegel is Bugsy's namesake is that we're borrowing enough material from Last Call already.
