This strikes avatars and adepts as the Land and everything else being very black and white, without color (a la the opening scenes of The Wizard of Oz). The LS6 seemed drained of vitality as it entered Kansas, operating as little more than a normal car.

Kansas is a key location in American folklore and in our game. Coronado visited Kansas in 1541, taking a path that would later become Route 66. The GoldenAgeKnightsOfTheRoad were betrayed in Kansas in 1938. Currently, Route 66 is somehow broken in Kansas, blocking the flow of energy between LosAngeles and Chicago.

You can't spell "Kansas" without "Ka".
