The original Dorothy from TheWizardOfOz. The LeagueOfGoodRoads caused her to ascend to the Avatar of TheHighPriestess.

Dorothy Gale was a real girl from Kansas, who the League abducted at the ChicagoFair. All the evidence says that the League raped and impregnated her, leading to the birth of America's MoonChild. These events are recorded in the Oneiros.

She was replaced by the NakedGoddess sometime in the mid-90s, resulting in a shift in America's concept of the maiden -- c.f. BritneySpears. This was probably about when she became the Wicked Witch of the West.

She has connections to (or perhaps is) many strongly-gendered female deities: BlackMadonna, BlackMaria, BloodyMary, Erzulie (in her Crone aspect), LaLlorona, and SantaMariaDeLasPutas.

At BurningMan, she ascended as a very dark version of TheMoon.
