Coronado quested for the SevenCities of Cibola on the word of TheTurk.

The Hotel Del Coronado was built in 1888 in Coronado, California. At the time, it was the largest building outside New York City to be electrically lighted; Thomas Edison supervised the installation personally. FrankBaum did much of his writing here, and is said to have based his designs for the EmeraldCity on the hotel.
