Avatar "paths" roughly follow the patterns of the Tarot MajorArcana (a la LastCall). Most folks just call them Trumps instead of Avatars or Archetypes. A few call them the InvisibleAscendedMasters.
These Trumps are all USA specific. Other countries might have the same kind of magic, or it might be different. Who knows? (Who cares?)
WaylanBeulay knows these Trumps are important, and that people fight over them, and that if Bonnie & Clyde ascended as TheLovers, that means something different for America than if, say, Sonny & Cher.
