A man in his mid-30s, clean shaven, with full, dark hair and muttonchops. The Duchess Wargrave and Inspector Dowd encountered him in Martira Bay, where he was allegedly staying at the behest of his employer, the Lord Corbridge. His residence in the abovementioned city was not what one would consider particularly sanitary or safe, but Thomas contended, after being threatened by Our Heroes, that it was easier to stay incognito in the slums of a city than in the upper-class districts.

Interestingly enough, Thomas explained that the Lord Corbridge tended to "leave behind" one of his retainers in each city that he visited on the way to Har Akir. Part of an information network, serving to keep the Corbridges abreast of what, perhaps, could be following them.
