Doktor Termidan Glockenschmidt is a Gnome of extremely small stature. Despite being short and slim, he usually stands at his full height, beaming of confidence and pride. His hair is mostly a stark white, more from chemical exposure than nature, as occasional darker roots shine through. The Doktor also sports a long, meticulously tended moustache, complete with thin handlebars in a slight upwards curl that the Doktor is known to gently tug when pondering his latest impossibilities. Glockenschmidt's eyes are a sharp, piercing ice-blue, and the Doktor is known to wear simple, round spectacles for reading. The Doktor's complexion appears fair, although truth be told, his skin is naturally fairly dark and it is due to the exposure to his lab that his face and arms have bleached.

While he owns a full wardrobe, as necessitated by the life of a doctoral student, Doktor Glockenschmidt is not terribly aware of his appearance. He owns, and wears as necessary, a full set of white-tie and tails regalia, although they always appear one wearing short of needing a pressing (this appearance maintained by the Doktor Glockenschmidt's Automatic Clothes Pressing Machine, patent pending, still under final development). Around Paridon, Dr. Glockenschmidt was usually seen, of late, flaunting his doctoral robes, wearing them over a tweed or linen suit, while in his Laboratory, he was usually seen in one of the aforementioned suits, without the jacket, but enhanced with a leather smock, besieged with pockets and tools. Upon the voyage, he has taken to wearing one of his suits, either with the jacket or the smock, as appropriate.
