From what Our Heroes witnessed during their hurried escape from this land, Falkovnia is in every way an oppressive military-state. Patrols and checkpoints are everywhere, and once during their flight Our Heroes bore witness to the horrific sight of two dozen bodies impaled upon ten foot spiked poles. A sign posted nearby, which was read in all haste by Dr. Termidan Glockenschmidt, stated simply that "Such is the fate of all traitors."
